Lead Business Development – Airtel Money

About the role

The Lead Business Development will drive the growth of the Airtel Money ecosystem by designing mobile solutions, onboarding partners, and launching new digital payment products to strengthen market position and achieve financial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile solutions for corporate partners, including bulk payment and cash collection services.
• Source, onboard, and manage corporate customers and informal merchants to expand Airtel Money usage.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the agro‑industry, pitching Airtel Money products to convert customers into partners.
• Develop quotes, proposals, and customized solutions for potential clients.
• Execute integrations of new ventures, assess risks, and estimate partner needs.
• Research financial behaviors of target market segments and collaborate on product design.
• Manage the Mobile Agriculture service (mAgri), ensuring scalability, content updates, and user growth.
• Transform rural mAgri users into revenue‑generating Airtel Money clients.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships by presenting new products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Three to five years of proven corporate sales experience.
• Experience in digital solutions and B2B relationship management.
