FMCG Sales Specialist

About the role

The FMCG Sales Specialist will drive growth for our partners and clients across Malawi, ensuring product availability and expanding market presence. This full‑time position is based in Blantyre and focuses on building strong relationships with both new and existing customers in the fast‑moving consumer goods sector.

Key responsibilities

• Support partners and clients to expand their local market footprint in Malawi.
• Follow up with clients to replenish inventory on time and provide assistance for order placement, cargo loading, customs clearance and related procedures.
• Track local market dynamics, collect first‑hand market information and promptly relay feedback.
• Develop new clients with mature distribution capabilities to improve overall customer quality structure.
• Maintain good cooperative relationships with existing clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in FMCG sales.
• In‑depth understanding of Malawi’s FMCG market, including local industry players and market rules.
• Practical experience in developing and maintaining key large clients.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; fluent English for business communication.
• Permanent resident of Blantyre.
