About the role

This contract-based Account Manager role is based on‑site in Lilongwe. You will drive business development, design technical solutions, and act as a trusted advisor for customers seeking IT infrastructure and networking services.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Identify client business needs and propose appropriate IT and network solutions.
  • Design technical solutions that align with customer requirements and project objectives.
  • Conduct customer visits, deliver presentations, and demonstrate solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Provide pre‑sales support and technical consultation throughout the sales cycle.
  • Proactively follow up on sales opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay current with emerging IT and networking technologies and market trends.

Required profile

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT/network solution sales or pre‑sales.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, security, IP and overall IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in solution design and preparing technical proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, responsible and able to work independently and within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, Microsoft, Fortinet) are a plus.
