Digital Ecosystem Consultant

About the role

VillageReach is seeking a Digital Ecosystem Consultant to design, develop, and maintain an integrated digital solution for the CHOICE Project (2025‑2028). The consultant will create an offline‑ready Youth Choice Progressive Web App, set up social media channels, and deliver a live interactive dashboard that consolidates data across all digital touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑design and prototype an offline‑first PWA with map services, SRHR content, community chat, and barrier reporting.
• Deploy the PWA on a cloud server and ensure high availability.
• Create and manage a Facebook Page and WhatsApp Business API with structured groups, broadcast channels, and moderation tools.
• Deploy an open‑source BI platform (e.g., Metabase, Superset, Redash) and build ETL pipelines to ingest data from the app, social media, USSD, and hotline.
• Implement row‑level security, encryption, and monitoring to achieve ≥99% uptime.
• Provide 12 months of post‑go‑live maintenance, including bug fixes, security patches, content updates, and dashboard enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing offline‑ready PWAs for low‑bandwidth environments.
• Successful track record integrating WhatsApp Business API and managing Facebook pages for community engagement.
• Hands‑on experience with open‑source BI tools and building robust ETL pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of cloud deployment, security best practices, and data encryption.
