Information Technology Support Technician – Freelance

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Information Technology Support Technician to provide onsite assistance at a client location in Lilongwe, Malawi. The role involves configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining desktop and laptop computers, as well as handling basic network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Reproduce the customer environment and run diagnostic tests.
• Manage and resolve electronic tickets efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and configure software and hardware components.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Local nationality or authorization to work in Lilongwe.
• Minimum 3 years of technical support experience.
• Residence in or near Lilongwe.
• Customer‑service oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
