Software Engineer – Full Stack Development

We’re expanding our team in Lilongwe, Malawi and looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain world‑class applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop web applications with Next.js & React.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using Node.js & .NET (C#).
• Design efficient database schemas in MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Implement caching, sessions, and queues with Redis.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver features end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, C#, and .NET.
• Solid expertise in PostgreSQL and MSSQL (schema design, query tuning, migrations).
• Practical knowledge of Redis (caching, pub/sub, queues).
• Experience with ORMs such as Prisma, Drizzle, and EF Core.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth2), HTML5/CSS3, and Tailwind CSS.
• Understanding of web security basics (OWASP Top 10, input validation, secrets management).
