Supply & Procurement Officer (NO-2) – Fixed Term, Lilongwe

About the role

UNICEF Malawi is looking for a Supply & Procurement Officer (NO-2) to strengthen its procurement and supply‑chain functions. Working under the Supply and Logistics Specialist, you will help ensure timely delivery of goods and services that support programme implementation for children in Malawi.

Key responsibilities

• Support supply planning, sourcing strategies, long‑term arrangements and offshore procurement.
• Provide technical guidance to government counterparts and implementing partners.
• Monitor procurement pipelines, supplier performance and contract compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and anti‑fraud measures.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and rapid procurement response.
• Coach and supervise team members to achieve performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Law, International Development, Public Health, Social Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supply management, procurement, vendor assessment, risk management or related areas.
• Open to Malawian nationals only.
