About the role
The University of Malawi is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to deliver Practical Legal Studies. The successful candidate will teach courses such as Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Drafting, Clinical Legal Education, Taxation Law and Accounts, and will contribute to the academic development of both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate law courses.
- Conduct research in the candidate’s area of specialisation.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, college and university committees.
- Serve as an academic consultant within broader departmental activities.
Required profile
- Master's or Doctorate degree in law from a recognised university.
- Demonstrated expertise in subjects such as Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, Drafting, Clinical Legal Education, Taxation Law and Accounts.
