About the role
The University of Malawi is inviting applications for multiple academic positions in its Law Faculty, ranging from Lecturer and Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor and Professor. Successful candidates will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to teaching, research, and community outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Initiate and conduct research in the candidate’s area of specialization.
- Participate in community outreach and professional activities of the department.
- Deliver clinical and experiential legal education at all levels.
- Teach two or more of the following courses: Law of Evidence, Legislative Drafting, Clinical Legal Education, Revenue Law.
Required profile
- Lecturer/Senior Lecturer: Minimum five years of bar admission, Upper Second-Class LLB (Honours) and an LLM from a recognised university.
- Associate Professor/Professor: Minimum ten years of bar admission, LLB (Honours), LLM and a PhD from a recognised university.
