Financial Management Analyst – Treasury & Liquidity

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Financial Management Analyst to lead treasury and liquidity functions across its programmes in Malawi. The analyst will safeguard donor funds, ensure smooth cash flow, and support strategic financial decisions for a mission‑driven organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor cash‑flow forecasts, consolidating partner funding and grant‑level projections.
• Manage petty‑cash operations, bank reconciliations and mobile‑money disbursements.
• Coordinate funding requests, ensuring compliance with donor timelines and internal approvals.
• Maintain relationships with banks and mobile‑money providers, updating exchange rates in the Sun System.
• Oversee investment accounts for gratuity, pension and severance funds, aligning with global treasury policies.
• Identify and mitigate treasury risks, including foreign‑currency exposure and funding delays.

Required profile

• Experience in treasury, cash‑flow planning or financial analysis, preferably in the non‑profit sector.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, banking operations and mobile‑money platforms.
• Ability to produce accurate financial reports and support audit readiness.
