Finance & Operations Director – ACHIEVE Malawi

About the role

The Finance and Operations Director will work closely with the Project Director to provide leadership and oversight of all finance, operations, and procurement functions for the ACHIEVE activity in Malawi. The role supports the implementation of integrated maternal, newborn, child health and HIV/AIDS services across Zomba, Thyolo, Karonga, and Balaka districts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of finance, operations, and procurement functions for the ACHIEVE Malawi activity.
• Ensure overall operational compliance for the implementation of the ACHIEVE Malawi activity.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health and sub‑national health management teams to plan, manage, monitor, and evaluate health programmes.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead finance, operations, and procurement functions in a complex, multi‑partner environment.
• Experience working closely with senior project leadership and government ministries.
