Security Operations Analyst

About the role

The Security Operations Analyst will monitor, analyse, and respond to security events across the organisation’s operating environment. Based in Lilongwe with travel to other sites, the role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, manipulate and analyse complex datasets to track KPIs and business metrics.
• Map existing workflows, conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with IT, sales, supply chain and other departments to integrate new policies and tools.
• Translate technical findings into clear reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor internal systems and operational structures, providing recommendations to resolve issues.
• Analyse incident reports, dashboards and documentation to drive operational efficiency.
• Support audits, risk assessments and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Recommend enhancements to detection rules, processes and overall security posture based on emerging threats.
