RLO Fund Officer – DREEM Initiative

About the role
The RLO Fund Officer will support the DREEM Phase II initiative, managing the Refugee‑Led Organization (RLO) Opportunity Fund and ensuring financial resources reach refugee, displaced and host‑community youth programmes across Africa. Based in Lilongwe, the officer will work closely with WUSC, partners and RLOs to drive impact and sustainable funding.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and monitor the RLO Opportunity Fund, processing applications, disbursements and financial reporting.
- Provide technical assistance to RLOs on grant management, budgeting and compliance.
- Coordinate with WUSC’s programme teams to align funding with strategic objectives of the DREEM Phase II.
- Track and evaluate fund performance against targets for youth employment and education.
- Facilitate partnerships and knowledge‑sharing among RLOs, donors and implementing partners.
Required profile
- University degree in finance, economics, international development or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in grant management, fund administration or similar financial roles within NGOs or development agencies.
- Demonstrated understanding of refugee‑led organisations and youth‑focused programmes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
