About the role
The RLO Fund Officer will support the DREEM Phase II initiative by managing the Refugee‑Led Organization (RLO) Opportunity Fund and strengthening the capacity of RLOs to deliver technical assistance across Africa. This position works within WUSC’s global development team to ensure that refugee, displaced and host‑community youth gain access to dignified work and education.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the design, implementation and monitoring of the RLO Opportunity Fund.
- Provide financial access and guidance to RLOs, ensuring compliance with fund policies.
- Strengthen RLO capacity to deliver technical assistance to partners and embed RLOs within functional areas of Phase II.
- Coordinate with WUSC’s network to facilitate partnerships, scale solutions and train stakeholders on RDP inclusion.
- Track and report on fund performance, impact metrics and lessons learned.
Required profile
- Experience in fund management, grant administration or financial oversight within international development.
- Knowledge of refugee‑led organizations and the humanitarian sector.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners across multiple countries.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
