Reports Officer

About the role

The Reports Officer will support UNICEF Malawi’s Partnerships Unit by producing high‑quality donor reports, managing project data, and strengthening donor relationships. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate reporting that upholds UNICEF’s reputation for excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an end‑to‑end donor reporting strategy for UNICEF Malawi.
• Oversee systematic collection, consolidation, and validation of project data from multiple sources.
• Apply advanced data analysis techniques to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure all reports comply with donor guidelines, branding, and organizational standards.
• Design, implement, and refine monitoring and reporting systems against KPIs and milestones.
• Produce and disseminate progress updates, annual reports, ad‑hoc briefings, presentations, and infographics.
• Maintain a proactive donor reporting pipeline and act as primary contact for donor inquiries.
• Support the Partnerships Specialist in cultivating strong donor relationships.
• Institutionalize knowledge‑management and reporting governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in donor reporting, data management, and monitoring & evaluation.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and internal teams.
• Excellent written communication skills for donor‑ready documentation.
