Regional Lead

About the role

Wave is seeking a Regional Lead to drive agent network acquisition and user growth in Malawi. Reporting to the Country Launcher, you will supervise Field Officers, coordinate with agent admin teams, and ensure targets are met across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new agents in line with selection criteria.
• Oversee agent contracting, ensuring legal compliance and proper training.
• Manage agent activation, certification, KYC, AML/CTF training, and outlet branding.
• Coordinate cash/e‑value liquidity monitoring with Liquidity and Agent Quality teams.
• Monitor agent performance, produce reports, and address emerging issues.
• Handle agent churn, recover equipment, and remove branding material.
• Lead a team of Field Officers who manage field promoters for new agent recruitment.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising field teams and coordinating agent acquisition.
• Strong understanding of agent contracting, compliance, and training processes.
• Ability to manage liquidity, risk monitoring, and performance reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to liaise with multiple internal teams.
