Regional Lead – Agent Operations

About the role

Wave is expanding its agent network across Malawi and needs a Regional Lead to drive agent acquisition, training, and performance. Reporting to the Country Launcher, you will supervise Field Officers, coordinate with admin teams, and ensure regional targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new agents in line with selection criteria.
• Oversee agent contracting, ensuring legal compliance and contract training.
• Manage agent activation, certification, KYC, AML/CTF training, and outlet branding.
• Coordinate cash and e‑value liquidity monitoring with Liquidity and Quality teams.
• Monitor agent performance, produce reports, and address emerging issues.
• Handle agent churn, recover equipment, and remove branding material.
• Lead a team of Field Officers who manage field promoters recruiting new agents.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising field teams and achieving regional targets.
• Strong understanding of legal and policy requirements for agent onboarding.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑functional teams (liquidity, quality, compliance).
• Excellent organizational and reporting skills.
