Project Manager – Maternal & Newborn Health

About the role

Seed Global Health is looking for a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead day‑to‑day coordination and implementation of a consortium project that strengthens maternal and newborn care across two health clusters in Blantyre and Lilongwe, Malawi.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities among Seed Global Health, consortium partners, and the Malawi Ministry of Health and Sanitation.
• Oversee facility upgrades, workforce capacity‑building, referral system improvements, and community engagement initiatives.
• Develop and manage robust monitoring, evaluation, learning, and adaptation systems.
• Ensure timely delivery of the project’s technical scope and report progress to the Country Director.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across all stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health‑related projects, preferably in maternal and newborn care.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with a track record of working with ministries and multi‑partner consortia.
• Ability to operate effectively in a Malawi context and travel as needed between project sites.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
