About the role
The Officer will deliver Safe Water Now (SWN) program interventions at the community level, ensuring clean water access for targeted communities. Reporting to the Associate, Area Coordinator, the role involves field execution, stakeholder engagement, and supervision of water treatment installations.
Key responsibilities
- Execute chlorine dispenser and In‑Line Chlorination activities in target communities.
- Conduct meetings with local government and stakeholders under guidance from the Associate Coordinator.
- Perform water‑point nomination and verification surveys to identify viable sites for installations.
- Lead community sensitisation and awareness sessions to promote participation.
- Supervise the installation of chlorine dispensers/ILC systems, coordinating masons, plumbers, and other technicians.
Required profile
- Experience working on community‑level health or water‑sanitation projects.
- Ability to engage with local authorities and community members effectively.
- Strong organisational and supervisory skills for field activities.
