Procurement and Logistics Officer

About the role

Pact is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Officer to support the ACHIEVE Malawi Project. The role will ensure that goods, works, and services are sourced cost‑effectively and delivered on time to enable project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection, evaluation, and source audits to develop the ACHIEVE Malawi Procurement Plan.
• Prepare standard bidding documents, negotiate contracts, and monitor contractor performance against terms of reference.
• Review purchase requests and orders for completeness, correct specifications, quantities, and delivery requirements.
• Maintain an updated supplier database, generate monthly procurement KPI reports, and provide weekly status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with tendering regulations and support logistics assignments across the project.

Required profile

• Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant procurement or logistics experience.
• Customer‑service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
• Team player who can collaborate with staff, vendors, and service providers.
