About the role
The ESS Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading a range of security systems. This includes access control, intrusion alarms, CCTV (both IP‑based and analogue), electric fences, and other related equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Install and commission access control systems and related hardware.
- Maintain and service intrusion alarm systems to ensure reliable operation.
- Configure, install, and troubleshoot CCTV solutions, both IP and analogue.
- Install, test, and maintain electric fence systems.
- Perform system upgrades to enhance functionality and usability.
- Follow operational procedures and complete required documentation for all activities.
Required profile
- Ability to carry out system upgrades and improvements.
- Attention to detail in adhering to operational procedures.
- Capability to produce accurate documentation of work performed.
Required skills
- Access control system installation and maintenance.
- Intrusion alarm system knowledge.
- CCTV systems (IP‑based and analogue) configuration and troubleshooting.
- Electric fence installation and maintenance.
- System upgrade implementation.
