Clinical Officer – Mobile Outreach Clinic (2 positions)

About the role

Orant Charities Africa is expanding its Mobile Outreach Clinic in the southern part of Kasungu district. We are looking for two qualified Clinical Officers to provide primary health care services both at static facilities and during outreach visits.

Key responsibilities

• Collect complete medical histories and perform comprehensive clinical examinations.
• Provide antenatal (ANC) and post‑natal (PNC) services, and manage chronic (NCD) patients.
• Prescribe appropriate treatment, arrange follow‑up, and ensure proper handover of patient information.
• Maintain accurate patient records, submit reports, and compile monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.
• Prepare and share clinic schedules, track missed appointments, and coordinate referrals.
• Ensure a clean, well‑equipped work environment in line with Ministry of Health standards.
• Participate in data collection, analysis, program evaluation and loading/off‑loading of outreach equipment.

Required profile

• Qualified Clinical Officer with experience in primary health care.
• Familiarity with Malawi national clinical guidelines and maternal‑neonatal care.
• Ability to work in both static health centres and mobile outreach settings.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills.
