Programme Analyst, FP/RHCS

About the role

The Programme Analyst, Family Planning/Reproductive Health Commodity Security supports UNFPA’s efforts to strengthen reproductive health commodity security and supply‑chain systems in Malawi. Working under the Programme Specialist (SRH), the analyst contributes to forecasting, procurement planning, logistics management and monitoring of contraceptives, maternal health medicines and related commodities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse commodity and logistics data to identify supply risks and support corrective actions.
• Provide technical inputs for forecasting, quantification and supply planning of reproductive health commodities.
• Coordinate activities of project staff, consultants and implementing partners, ensuring oversight of supply‑chain activities.
• Support the collection, quality and use of logistics data through the national Logistics Management Information System and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Assist in advocacy, policy dialogue, resource mobilisation and development of communication materials related to RHCS.

Required profile

• Works closely with SRH unit staff and Ministry of Health partners to implement RHCS initiatives.
• Coordinates activities of project staff, consultants and implementing partners, ensuring alignment with UNFPA programmes.
