Accounts Administrator – Financial Operations

About the role

Old Mutual Investment Group is seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and organised Accounts Administrator to support day‑to‑day accounting activities. Reporting to the Accountant, you will ensure accurate processing of financial transactions and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Capture, process, and update financial transactions in Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring proper support and coding.
• Perform regular bank and digital payment reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and reflect accurate data in accounting records.
• Prepare timely financial reports and schedules, and assist with month‑end and year‑end activities.
• Support tax administration by preparing, reviewing, and submitting applicable tax returns.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, recording additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Process supplier and operational payments in line with established controls and timelines.
• Respond to accounting queries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards.
