Commissioned Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Commissioned Financial Advisor to provide tailored financial advice and promote its range of life assurance and related products within an allocated market. The role is accountable for achieving sales targets while delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial advice in line with the company’s value proposition and compliance framework.
• Provide excellent customer service, process cases, resolve complex queries and support client retention.
• Analyze customer needs, tailor presentations, and identify sales opportunities.
• Develop and implement relationship management plans to build networks with decision‑makers.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and schedule follow‑up actions.
• Monitor market data, gather intelligence, and represent the company at sector events.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory codes.

Required profile

• Education: NQF Level 5 – Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
• Competencies: Action‑oriented, builds networks, collaborates, communicates effectively, customer‑focused, drives results, ensures accountability.
