IT Projects Officer

About the role

We are seeking an IT Projects Officer to plan, execute, and deliver IT projects for our clients. The role involves coordinating with technical teams, managing timelines, and ensuring quality delivery. You will act as the main point of contact between clients and internal teams to guarantee project success.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects stay on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Coordinate with engineers, developers, and technicians throughout the project lifecycle to facilitate smooth delivery and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals, status reports, and documentation for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Liaise with clients to gather detailed requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and are completed by agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 is an advantage.
• Minimum of three years’ experience managing IT projects, demonstrating ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide cross‑functional teams and interact effectively with clients.
• Proven capability to handle several projects at once while maintaining focus on quality and timelines.
