Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of housekeeping across accommodation, pool, public, crew and other designated areas. Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager, the role ensures standards are met and guests receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all housekeeping functions in assigned areas (accommodation, pool, public, crew, etc.).
• Support the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in achieving division objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and service standards on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Lead, coach and supervise a team of at least 10 employees.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a large 4‑ or 5‑star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line or similar hospitality environment.
• Experience supervising a team of at least 10 staff members.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, safety procedures and job safety analysis.
• Good command of English; additional languages such as Spanish or French are a plus.
