Program Manager II – Health, Nutrition & Social Services

About the role

The Program Manager II/Unit Manager for Health, Nutrition and Social Services will lead the Health unit of CRS Malawi, overseeing project managers and ensuring equitable health service delivery to the poorest and most vulnerable populations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff, providing guidance on CRS policies and procedures.
• Oversee preparation of progress, program and donor reports.
• Monitor Health project budgets, procurement and monthly spending.
• Plan department leave coverage and manage field travel logistics.
• Mentor and coach staff, developing performance plans.
• Organize quarterly technical working groups and annual SRFMP visits.
• Provide technical support and supervision for health and nutrition activities.
• Contribute to proposal design, drafting, reviewing and editing.
