About the role
The FAO is seeking a Videographer to support the Ecosystem‑based Adaptation for Resilient Watersheds and Communities in Malawi (EbAM) project. The role involves field collection and production of short thematic videos and photographs that document best practices, project events, and community impacts.
Key responsibilities
- Shoot and produce at least 2‑minute thematic videos in line with FAO briefs.
- Apply FAO and donor branding guidelines to all video outputs.
- Collaborate with the Office of Communications (OCC) and project communication focal points for content planning, review, and distribution.
- Liaise with OCC at each production stage to ensure compliance with FAO video production standards.
- Maintain a library of high‑quality photographs and video assets for project reporting and outreach.
Required profile
- Proven experience in field videography and multimedia production.
- Ability to work independently in remote locations across multiple districts in Malawi.
- Strong attention to detail and capacity to follow branding and technical guidelines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with technical advisors and communication specialists.
