Temporary Tuberculosis (TB) Program Officer

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Temporary Tuberculosis (TB) Program Officer to support its health projects in Malawi. This six‑month fixed‑term position is based at the National Office in Lilongwe and focuses on implementing community TB activities and ensuring high‑quality data collection.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day project activities according to the work plan and implementation strategy.
• Manage sub‑partners and ensure timely achievement of project goals.
• Assist the TB Specialist in distributing procured TB enablers to beneficiaries.
• Collaborate with the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team to maintain high‑quality data and provide regular impact reports.
• Analyze program data from implementing partners to identify trends and intervention needs.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for scaling up and adaptation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in community TB or community health management (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with partners and coordinate activities.
• Local applicant based in Malawi.
