About the role
The University of Malawi is seeking qualified academics for Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor positions in Geography Education. Candidates will join a vibrant department, contributing to teaching, research, and community outreach.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Geography Education courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Conduct and publish research in Geography Education.
- Supervise student teaching practice and research projects.
- Serve as academic consultant within the department and contribute to outreach activities.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or PhD in Geography Education, plus a relevant bachelor’s degree with credit.
- Minimum two years of teaching experience at an accredited university.
- For senior positions, documented research experience and a record of publications (books or refereed journal articles).
