About the role
The University of Malawi invites applications for academic positions at the level of Professor, Senior Lecturer or Lecturer in Food and Nutrition Sciences. Successful candidates will join the Faculty of Health Sciences and contribute to teaching, research and service.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in nutrition-related courses.
- Conduct original research in the candidate’s area of specialisation.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, college and university committees.
- Provide academic consultancy within the broader department.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or PhD in Human Nutrition or a closely related field from a university recognised by the University of Malawi.
- Submit a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic certificates and the names of three traceable referees.
