Donor Liaison Coordinator

About the role

World Vision is looking for a local, fixed-term Donor Liaison Coordinator to lead the National Office in serving its US donors and partners across all US fundraising channels. The role works with the National Director, senior leadership, ADP coordinators, sector directors, finance and supply chain, and the Vision Trip and Donor Liaison Program to create compelling donor experiences that raise awareness, advocacy and financial support.

Key responsibilities

• Support donors and partners in receiving optimal service from the National Office departments for fundraising campaigns and channels.
• Host donors virtually or in person on Vision Trips, coordinating with the National Office to plan agendas, welcome packets and logistics such as accommodation, meals, transport and security.
• Hold multiple meetings with US fundraising staff, visit ADPs, meet beneficiaries and research and interview them.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality deliverables such as beneficiary impact stories, photos and videos that show program impact.
• Handle financial arrangements for trips and work with the Vision Trip team to meet agreed deliverable deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in donor engagement activities.
• Experience hosting in person or virtually, or working with US donor groups, highly preferred.
• Experience with NGOs, news agencies, marketing organizations or international organizations preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities at once and availability for significant travel to projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with personal computers, email and office productivity software such as Microsoft Office.
• Basic still photography, videography, video editing and story writing.
• Strong communication and public relations skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
