Customer Care Representative – Multilingual (Northern Malawi)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Care Representative to join our Lilongwe team. The role expands our toll‑free call centre hours, including nights and weekends, to serve customers across the northern region of Malawi.

Key responsibilities

• Execute customer service policies, call scripts, performance monitoring and team schedules.
• Handle large volumes of inbound and welcome calls, identifying customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies consistently.
• Resolve complaints via phone, email, mail or social media, providing timely solutions and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with the customer service coordinator to maintain high service standards.
• Contribute to team goals and assist with related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for helping people.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to multitask.
• Diploma or fresh graduate in a relevant field; MSCE certificate with good Mathematics and English results.
• Resident of Lilongwe.
• Fluent in Chitumbuka and proficient in at least one additional local language (Chilambya, Chindali, Nyiha, Chinamwanga, Chiwandya).
