About the role
UNICEF is seeking a dynamic professional to join its team as a Child Protection Officer. The role supports the delivery of high‑impact programmes that safeguard children’s rights and well‑being in Malawi.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation and monitoring of child protection programmes.
- Assist with programme management, data collection and evaluation activities.
- Ensure compliance with UNICEF child protection standards and policies.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to promote child rights.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law, International Development, Psychology, Sociology, Human Rights, International Law, Social Science or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in child protection, programme management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Fluency in English.
- Open to Malawian nationals only.
