About the role
The Area Manager will lead the Retail Business across multiple branches, driving the implementation of sales strategies and ensuring business growth objectives are met. Reporting to the Head of Retail Sales, you will oversee 5 to 8 branches, providing leadership, coaching, and support to achieve sales productivity, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Retail Distribution business strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage expense control and promote financial discipline within retail sales teams.
- Coordinate legislative and regulatory compliance across the Retail Business.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the Head of Retail Sales.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive market expansion initiatives.
- Ensure disciplined execution of the distribution strategy through efficient business processes.
- Oversee the sales function to meet organisational business targets.
Required profile
- Strong experience in field sales, people management, and sales leadership.
- Proven ability to deliver results in a highly competitive environment.
- Relevant qualifications and experience suitable for an Area Manager role.
