Network and Cybersecurity Specialist

About the role

Cinnabar Tech is seeking a Network and Cybersecurity Specialist to support a World Bank‑sponsored National Registration and Identification System (NRIS) project. The role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the current frontend and backend infrastructure, as well as the core systems that underpin the National ID and Civil Registration components.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a detailed “As Is” assessment covering system architecture, data flows, operational processes, integrations and supporting infrastructure.
• Review and evaluate the security and communication layers of the NRIS, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum of seven years of professional experience in network architecture, cybersecurity frameworks and secure enterprise communication.
• Demonstrated expertise in firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption standards, access control mechanisms, network segmentation and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with international cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent.
• Experience assessing or designing secure environments for government or critical infrastructure systems.
