Driver – Judiciary (Malawi)

About the role

The Malawi Judiciary is seeking a reliable driver to transport officers, staff, and materials across all districts. The role involves safe vehicle operation, routine maintenance, and supporting administrative tasks. The driver will also maintain vehicle documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive officers, staff and transport materials to designated locations as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain a log book, monitor fuel usage and report any vehicle faults.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, equipment and office supplies.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure the Certificate of Fitness and insurance are up‑to‑date.
• Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and report accidents or damages promptly.
• Maintain vehicle documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensure confidentiality when transporting sensitive materials.

Required profile

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Age between 25 and 45 years.
