Driver (Grade CS12) – Judiciary

About the role

The Judiciary is seeking a qualified driver (Grade CS12) to provide safe and reliable transportation for officers, staff, and materials across its locations in Blantyre, Lilongwe, Zomba and Mzuzu. The role involves operating a vehicle, maintaining logs, and ensuring the vehicle is kept in good condition. Candidates must hold a clean driving record and be able to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Transport judicial officers, staff, and official documents to designated locations as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain an accurate log book, record fuel usage and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with loading and unloading luggage, equipment and office supplies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, report faults and ensure the Certificate of Fitness and insurance are current.
• Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and report accidents or damages promptly.

Required profile

• Malawian national aged between 25 and 45 years.
• Minimum education of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
