Temporary Tuberculosis Program Officer (6‑month contract)

About the role

This is a six‑month, fixed‑term position supporting the implementation of a tuberculosis (TB) program in Lilongwe. The role works closely with the TB Specialist and monitoring & evaluation team to ensure high‑quality delivery of TB interventions for vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day project activities according to the work plan and implementation strategy, including management of sub‑partners.
• Assist in supervising project implementation to ensure quality and timely achievement of goals.
• Work with the TB Specialist to distribute procured TB enablers to beneficiaries.
• Help the M&E team and TB Specialist maintain high‑quality data and provide regular impact reports.
• Analyze program data from implementing partners to identify trends and areas needing intervention.
• Document lessons learned and best practices for scaling up and adaptation.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in community TB or community health management (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively with partners and demonstrated coordination and collaboration skills.
• Local applicants only; position based at the National Office in Lilongwe.
