About the role
The Mission Support Supervisor provides multi‑function services to support the Church’s mission in Lilongwe, ensuring that missionary facilities operate smoothly and meet the needs of the mission president and missionaries.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with the mission president to address facility requirements.
- Negotiate apartment leases and renewals, assign work to vendors, and verify that work meets specifications.
- Conduct bi‑annual formal maintenance inspections of missionary apartments.
- Manage mission drivers and home attendants.
- Scope and oversee building renovation projects as needed.
- Anticipate upcoming mission needs and lead moderately complex projects.
- Perform duties similar to those of direct reports when required.
- Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Current and valid temple recommend (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in a relevant field, with applicable industry‑recognized certifications.
- Minimum five years of related experience, higher‑education, or certification progress.
- Previous leadership experience in a work setting.
- Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and presently temple worthy.
