Field Driver – Transport & Logistics

About the role

The Field Driver will transport CRS Malawi authorized passengers and cargo to approved destinations, ensuring safe and efficient travel while supporting office errands and vehicle upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to CRS Malawi vehicle policy at all times.
• Record mileage, trip purpose, and POET in the vehicle management system.
• Check and maintain road tax, insurance, and Certificate of Fitness expiry dates.
• Perform routine vehicle checks (water, engine oil, tyre condition, tools, fire extinguisher, first‑aid kit) and keep vehicles clean.
• Handle mail, banking or cashing checks for the office.
• Assist with office tasks such as photocopying, filing, and phone calls.
• Carry out authorized errands based on vehicle requests.

Required profile

• Minimum Malawi School Certificate; defensive‑driving qualification is a plus.
• At least two years of driving experience with a clean record.
• Good spoken English and strong written communication.
• Excellent knowledge of Malawian roads, cities, and map reading.
• Self‑motivated, organized, flexible and able to adapt to change.
