Stakeholder Engagement, Events & Challenges Expert

About the role

The project “Support to the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme – AESPP Boost” aims to strengthen cooperation between Africa and the European Union in the space sector. We are looking for a Non‑Key Expert to lead stakeholder mobilisation, organise institutional events and run innovation competitions and matchmaking activities across the Africa‑EU space ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Mobilise and engage stakeholders from public, private and research sectors throughout the Africa‑EU space ecosystem.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver institutional events, outreach activities and innovation challenges.
• Facilitate B2B and B2G matchmaking sessions, including stakeholder mapping and engagement tracking.
• Support knowledge exchange, policy dialogue and partnership development related to space initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three‑year program) in communication, international relations, event management, social sciences or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least three years of professional experience in stakeholder engagement, event organisation or ecosystem mobilisation.
• Minimum one year of experience specifically in institutional events, outreach, innovation competitions, challenges or B2B/B2G matchmaking.
