Project Officer – CARE Package for Emergencies

About the role
The Project Officer will coordinate day‑to‑day implementation of the CARE Package for Emergencies (CP4E) across participating countries, ensuring activities are delivered on schedule and in line with CP4E standards. The role supports country offices, partners and internal teams, facilitating bilingual communication and maintaining accurate project documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide structured coordination with country offices, track workplans, milestones and action items, and escalate issues promptly.
- Maintain consolidated trackers for implementation status, budgets, quantities and key dates, and prepare regular progress updates.
- Support sourcing, production, dispatch and logistics by monitoring delivery schedules and coordinating with procurement and supply‑chain teams.
- Facilitate communication between English‑ and French‑speaking stakeholders, including translation of routine project materials.
- Maintain organized electronic project files, SharePoint sites and bilingual project documents for easy stakeholder access.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, project management, humanitarian studies or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years of experience in project coordination, humanitarian or development operations, or grants administration.
- Professional fluency in both English and French, written and spoken.
- Proven ability to work with multiple country offices and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
