Operations Supervisor – Logistics & Warehouse

About the role

FRU AND SONS LTD is looking for a highly organized Operations Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day activities across import/export, warehousing, inventory, and transportation. The role ensures smooth coordination, compliance with regulations, and high customer satisfaction while driving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operational activities to maintain productivity.
• Coordinate import and export processes, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of consumer goods.
• Plan logistics, transportation, and distribution schedules for timely deliveries.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and develop operational staff.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all procedures.
• Identify operational challenges and implement workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, finance, and customer service teams.
• Track operational costs and propose cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare reports on performance metrics, inventory, and operations for management.
• Investigate issues and apply corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• 5–7 years of operational or logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in wholesale import and export of consumer goods is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
