Nutrition Specialist – Fixed Term (Lilongwe, Malawi)

About the role
Under the guidance of the Chief, Nutrition, you will help transform the diets and futures of children, adolescents, and women in Malawi by increasing the availability, access, and consumption of diverse, nutritious foods.
Key responsibilities
- Drive strategies that scale the provision of nutritious foods and support behaviour‑change initiatives.
- Lead the development and rollout of a child‑sensitive, nutrition‑responsive agriculture package aligned with national priorities.
- Support implementation through community and district coordination structures and broader food‑systems efforts.
- Strengthen partnerships with UN agencies, government ministries, and other stakeholders for multisectoral coordination and scale‑up of nutrition‑sensitive value chains.
- Monitor programme performance, strengthen data systems, and document best practices for policy advocacy.

- Open to Malawian nationals only.
