Malawi Missions Internship

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated intern to join missionary Gary Rieben’s ministry in Malawi. The internship offers a hands‑on experience in community‑based discipleship, feeding programs, and children’s ministry within a cross‑cultural setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise feeding centers from January to April, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Plan and lead programs for orphans and widows as part of the discipleship initiative.
• Run children’s Bible clubs and assist in developing curriculum with missionaries.
• Organise and deliver training seminars for local children’s‑ministry leaders.
• Host weekly women’s Bible studies (female interns) or men’s Bible and leadership classes (male interns).
• Participate in home visits, prayer support, and personal evangelism.

Required profile

• Strong personal commitment to Christian faith, prayer, and Scripture study.
• Willingness to serve the local community with humility and respect.
• Ability to adapt to Malawian culture while upholding biblical standards.
• Flexibility, teamwork, and openness to guidance from national leaders.
• Desire for personal spiritual growth and a call to missions.
