About the role

The University of Malawi is seeking qualified academics for multiple positions in its Economics department, ranging from Lecturer to Professor. Successful candidates will join a vibrant teaching and research community.

Key responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students
Conducting research in their area of specialization
Participating in departmental, faculty, college and university‑wide committees
Providing academic consultancy within the broader areas of the department

Required profile

Master’s Degree or PhD in Economics from a recognised institution
Degree must be from an institution recognised by the University of Malawi
