Industrial Water Chemist & Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Water Chemist & Application Engineer to join our team in Lilongwe. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on laboratory analysis, chemical treatment design and client support for industrial water systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized water analyses, interpret results and recommend treatment programs for boilers, cooling towers and process water.
• Design, implement and monitor dosing systems at client sites, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
• Support R&D initiatives, prepare technical reports and collaborate with engineering and sales on product selection.
• Provide training and technical guidance to customers and internal colleagues.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Strong laboratory and analytical skills with experience in water chemistry testing and instrumentation.
• Knowledge of industrial water treatment systems and related safety practices.
• Ability to work on‑site at customer facilities and produce accurate technical documentation.
