About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by maintaining cleanliness across multiple departments such as kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry. This entry‑level position ensures guests enjoy spotless dining ware, fresh linen, and a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dining ware, and hotel linens.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishware and linens between hotel areas.
• Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and reaching overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior work experience necessary.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.
